Immigration Attorney
The Law Office of Claudia Grégoire seeks an Immigration Attorney ready to engage in immigration defense and advocacy, including the following areas of practice:
- Protecting people from removal before EOIR in defensive asylum and EOIR-42B matters
- Asylum (affirmative and defensive)
- T Visas, U Visas, and VAWA
- Green Cards, family-based consular processing, and naturalization (I-751, I-130/I-485, DS-260, N-400, etc.)
The ideal candidate will be a tireless advocate for immigrant rights, have a strong ability to spot legal issues, work well in a team, be willing to mentor interns and administrative staff, and be driven to produce excellent legal work (briefs, in-court advocacy, etc.).
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited U.S. law school
- Ideally admitted to the Rhode Island and/or Massachusetts Bar in good standing, but the firm is also open to candidates admitted in other states
- Fluency in Spanish
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
